Our Commitment
Matchd supports equal housing opportunity. Listings and submissions may not express preferences, limitations, or discrimination based on any characteristic protected by federal, state, or local law, including race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, familial status, age, ancestry, marital status, or sexual orientation.
Federal Fair Housing Act
The Federal Fair Housing Act (42 U.S.C. §§ 3601–3619) prohibits discrimination in the sale, rental, and financing of housing. Matchd operates in full support of this law and all applicable state and local fair housing regulations.
Prohibited Content
Submissions containing language indicating a preference for or against any protected class will be flagged for manual review and may be rejected, including:
- Statements limiting occupancy based on race, religion, or national origin
- Language indicating a preference for tenants of a particular sex
- Language excluding persons with disabilities
- Statements discouraging families with children (except qualifying 55+ communities)
- Any other expression of a discriminatory preference
Platform Role
Matchd is a property-discovery technology platform. Matchd does not provide brokerage services, establish agency relationships, or participate in real estate transactions.
